Natasha and Chris are getting married this Saturday so we went out to do an E-Shoot a couple of weekends ago. Here are some of the images and I am really looking forward to the wedding!

We braved the freezing weather yesterday to do a quick portrait session. It had originally been scheduled for 6 weeks ago but got rained off. It was rather unfortunate then that yesterday we woke up to snowfall!

Fortunately the snow turned to rain and then then the sun sort of came out late afternoon.

A portrait from America...

I have just been to the USA (between Philadelphia and Baltimore) for 16 days to attend a course by the great David A Wiliams, one of the best photographic educators in the world. I have attended his course before but it is so full of information that I wanted to do it again.

I also went back to New York (for about the 6th time!) and Washington DC. It was quite exciting with the election and G20 summit going on.

During one of the lunch breaks I really wanted to shoot so asked a couple of my fellow attendees and photographers if they would let me photograph them. I shall be posting a 2 or 3 of these shoots in the next few days. Each lasted about 5 minutes so this gives you an idea about the speed at which simple portraits can be taken. Ideally I would like longer to give depth and variation which is what I will be doing with Kris (in the photos below) when I fly out to Phoenix in January for a conference. I think I should go and live in the US!

Elizabeth and Ian...

Early on Sunday morning I met up with Elizabeth and Ian in Maidstone town centre for their engagement session. It was cold to start with being at 07:30 but the light was fantastic and Elizabeth looked really glamorous! We soon got into the "zone" and got great shot after great shot. We had a couple of looks from passers by but the town was pretty quiet as you would expect.

Their wedding is next month at Eastwell Manor so I really can't wait for that. I know it will be fantastic!

Claudine, Lee and Logan

Some of you may remember Claudine, she was the bride who graced the front page of my main website for a year or so. I photographed her wedding to Lee back in May 2006 and yesterday had the pleasure of photographing them again but with the addition of their 9 month old son Logan.

It was great to see them both again and Claudine looked amazing as ever whilst Lee seems to have got even bigger and stronger! Lee actually coaches a rugby team at the weekend and I would bet that Logan might grow up to be an England International and the nations pin up. He is one good looking lad!

I have shown you 10 or so photographs below, but they will actually receive a 75 page hardback book with a similar number of images in. It will look fantastic and be the first I have done as it is part of my new portrait service.

If you prefer you may also choose to get a group of friends together and all be in the same book. The beauty of doing this is that you all have beautiful record of your child and their friends. Rob..

My friend Maria (who I have shot a few times) recommended me to Rob, a TV presenter as he needed a few shots of himself.

We headed down to the beach and the White Cliffs Hotel for the shoot. It was a really overcast day and quite rainy at times so we headed to a few retreats to find cover.

This is the first installment as I also took some great images of Rob and Maria together.

Vicky

I went out with Vicky last night who is an aspiring model and wanted some shots taken to update her portfolio. We chose to go to Chatham Historic Dockyard for the shoot as it has some pretty cool backdrops and great pockets of light.

I always enjoy these types of shoot as it gives the chance to experiment and play around a little.

A quick shoot last night..

I went out last night for a shoot with Lyndsey at Riverside Country Park near Rainham in Kent.

We only had about an hour but found some cool light and got some funky images. On the last few I have played about in Photoshop and with some actions to see if I like them. I think they work on this occasion and fit in with the scene.

I was going for a fashion/editorial type look.
