I am big fan of The Wire which is based in Baltimore so was keen to visit it last week whilst I was in Washington. Heather kindly drove me there after the e-session posted below. We walked around the waterfront which was lovely and then went to the Fells. On our way back to the car we passed a pub and were both drawn to it. It was called the Cat's Eye Pub and had amazing blues music being played by Steve Kraemer and the Bluesisians. We both looked in and said we had to have a drink. It was probably the best pub I have ever been to.
There was an eclectic mix of drinkers from the old boys to a young set, a drunk dancing guy who was hilarious and an wonderful older couple enjoying a sunday afternoon out. It was just full of characters. The best part though was they had a beer called Oliver. How could I resist. It was a shame that it was Sunday as Heather had to drive back and not drink due to work the next day. I had a great time though!
Great photos. The Cat's Eye is definately a place to experience a cross section of our town. Hope that it was enjoyable and hope that you visit again.

Great photos. I have been to the Cat's Eye Pub and they do have absolutely great music and it is a lot of fun!
