E-session in Washington DC

I spent last week in Washington DC to do a course and took the opportunity to help my friend Heather Z shoot an engagement session. I am not good at second shooting (I like to be in charge!) but we had a great time and ended up finding a really cool shop which just sells cup cakes! This was shot in Old Town Alexandria which is a pretty cool place to live and work.

The Spa Hotel - Collette and Colin

Collette and Colin got married at the lovely Spa Hotel in Royal Tunbridge Wells a couple of weeks ago. As they both got ready at the venue I was able to take some images of Colin before the ceremony in addition to Collette which is always nice.

It was a beautiful day, albeit a little cold but we still managed to get some shots outside in the beautiful grounds.

Michelle and Family

I had a lovely shoot in the studio last Monday with Michelle who works with Pauline (I posted her images a few weeks ago). She bought along her mum, dad and brother. A few images to show you:-

 

NIck and Sarah's e-shoot.

I headed out with Nick and Sarah last week to do an e-shoot for them. It is essentially to get them used to being in front of the camera before their wedding making it is a little easier for them on the day. As always it went well and we finished before the crowds descended upon the town centre.

Suzanna - A Hot Model Shoot...

I recently photographed Suzanna who wanted some shots of her taken before her 25th birthday. We went for a fashion type shoot and kept it moody and dark. I was really happy with the results of which I have posted some below..

50th Wedding Anniversary

On Monday I met up with Patricia and her husband to take some photos to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary which is later this year. I had a great time and they really got into the shoot showing off their dancing skills and proving that romance never dies.

Katy and Marks' Wedding at Port Lymne Zoo

I had a great wedding a couple of weeks ago at Port Lymne Zoo with Katy and Mark. Although it was a little cold we all wrapped up and went on a safari through the park on special busses. This part of the park is not open to the public so it was a real treat.

Fripperies

My new studio is above Fripperies the wedding shop in Headcorn so when Tara (the owner) asked me if I would take some images of her dresses for her new website I jumped at the chance. I have only included a couple of dresses here and some repeats so will have to look at the new site when I goes live. I will give you the address then...

Tara chose the Old Rectory Health Club near Maidstone as the location and here are a few of the shots I took.

Paul, Mel and Family

I have got really behind with my posting as I have been so busy with numerous projects so there might be a quick succession in the next few days (I think I have 4 or 5 shoots to post). You can hopefully see a showreel of some recent wedding images to the left of this BLOG which is one of the things I have been up to. Just click the arrow to play.

One set of images I wanted to put up was Paul and Mel as I photographed their wedding 2 or 3 years ago so it was great to see Kristian growing up and new arrival Amelia. I went to their house and local park to start and then we did a quick family shot in the studio when they came for their viewing. It worked really well and we got a good contrast between the environmental and studio images.
