I had the pleasure of going out with my good friend Matt Pereira on Saturday to shoot Andrew and Irinas wedding. I was returning the favour as Matt did the same for me 3 months ago at Gosfield Hall.
I met up with Andrew and his Best Man Phillip in the morning whilst Matt captured Irina before converging at the church. St Peter's Italian Church in Clerkenwell was simply stunning and provided a great backdrop for the ceremony.
The reception was held at The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn in Holburn which was equally impressive with a wealth of buildings that offered almost unlimited choice in terms of photographic locations. It was literally a case of where to start.
After a post ceremony "buffet" of caviar, smoked salmon and steak the guests retreated to the Old Hall for the formal dinner. This did not disappoint and was truly scrumptious with the cream strawberry cake one of the finest I have ever tasted.
As I was second shooting I took no formal shots which felt very strange. It gave me the opportunity though to focus on other styles including motion blur for the confetti which I really like.
As always, please feel free to leave comments. The second shot by the way is in Hattan Garden as I noticed that this is the shop Andrew and Irina had their rings designed at.

Wow love the shots and these are really amazing

You have some lovely photos on this blog David. I like your style and how you're always trying different approaches. I'm a photographer too and funnily enough, photographing a wedding at this very venue in Clerkenwell this December. It's good to know it's a stunning venue for photography!
